our new complex is great for walking the dogs and for kids. we have been going on multiple walks a day because the weather is perfect. cole loves being outside, loves the water puddles & finding treasures!

my goal once we moved and got a bit settled was to get c transitioned to his big boy bed. noah will be here in 3 short months and we will need cole's old crib and mattress for him. so, after being here 3 nights, we set up his bed, bought a bed rail (not shown) and put cole's new truck bedding on. he's done great so far! he knows how to get out of his bed but has yet to do this in the morning, only at naptime once he is up!

we have arrived at our destination! FLORIDA! it didn't take us too long to get to the beach. cole loved it!!

christmas tree 2011! this year we bought a tiny tree that came in a stand. nice & easy. the little tree is almost as cute as cole!

 

 

 

just reading a few books

cole was cracking me up today at gramma's house. shortly after he woke he was actually asking to go back in his crib with his books. this his him enjoying some qt with his two favorite books!

c is so fun

cole is at a super fun age right now. it seems every day he is learning something new. his favorite activities are playing with his trucks and reading dog books.
his new thing today was saying/singing along the animal noises to the cd we must listen to in the car so he does not throw a fit!
his favorite words are: mama, dada, santo, shoe, TRUCK, beep beep, pie pie {for pineapple}, pease {for please}.
we bought him a potty a few weeks ago but he has yet to actually use it. he stands beside it and pees on the floor instead. his confusion (i think) is that he thinks pee pee is poo poo. he tells us every time he goes poo poo but says pee pee.
i can't believe my baby boy is going to be 18 months in 11 days!!!!
